Volunteers might want to develop skills confidence and/or employment prospects or simply help the community. Whatever it is, we will have a role for you. We depend heavily on volunteers to help us deliver our services such as the Community Café, Disability Information & Advice, Shopmobility and Volunteering & Learning. Therefore we treasure our kind and loyal volunteers that contribute their experience, time and energy to help improve the lives of disabled peoples.
We are proud holders of The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the MBE for volunteer groups. Approximately 70% of our workforce has a disability or long term health condition.
Dial West Cheshire’s services are primarily delivered by volunteers supported by a small team of paid staff. We encourage people with disabilities and long term health conditions to volunteer and work with us.
