Improving The Lives of Disabled People
Volunteers might want to develop skills confidence and/or employment prospects or simply help the community. We develop people from the community to help others within the community by offering a friendly, supportive and well managed volunteer scheme with extensive opportunities for training and development.
Volunteers help us deliver our services (eg Community Cafe, Disability Information & Advice, Shopmobility and Volunteering & Learning). Volunteer roles and opportunities for training include kitchen assistants and cooks, receptionists, disability rights advisers and form-fillers, Shopmobility assistants, shopping helpers and mobility equipment technicians. Volunteers also fulfill vital support functions such as directors/trustees, ICT, marketing & communications and administration, and we are always keen to hear from people who will volunteer to help with one off fundraising activities and events.

Volunteers in response to Coronavirus
Dial West Cheshire relies on it’s volunteers to provide services to disabled, older and vulnerable people. This is especially vital now when demand for our service is high and our workforce is depleted due to the crisis.
Although we are underway with the first phase of reopening our sites, some of our Shopmobility sites remain closed, as does our head office in line with current government guidelines. We have restructured our activities to operate remotely and are currently working on what specific volunteer roles we may need. If you would like to register your interest in volunteering with us please complete the form on the Contact Page of this website.
We do not currently have any paid vacancies at this time, but please keep checking back regularly for updates.
