Daily Hire & Membership
Daily hire of mobility scooters, powered and manual wheelchairs to enable people with mobility difficulties to access shops and other facilities in Chester, Ellesmere Port, Northwich and Winsford. You can request a booking using our online form or call us on the numbers below.

Maintenance & Repairs
Let us look after the servicing or repair of your own equipment from our fully equipped workshops in Chester and Ellesmere Port.
Available in Chester and Ellesmere Port, friendly, trained volunteer helpers (Ability Angels) who can accompany disabled people or older people to enable them to do their own shopping. Assistance available includes carrying bags, reaching for items, guiding sensory impaired customers and help for wheelchair users.

|*Maximum continuous hire period is 4 weeks, at which point we need you to pop into the shop to let us check your equipment is still safe before continuing your hire period.|
Membership enables customers to hire equipment from any of the four shopmobility centres across the Cheshire West and Chester area.
Customers can join the Dial Shopmobility membership scheme (ideal for repeat users) or alternatively use the service as non-members (eg one-off or occasional users).
Use of the service is subject to registration together with sight of 2 forms of identification. All customers will be given instruction in the safe use of equipment and must demonstrate their competence to use the equipment.
We reserve the right to decline the hire of equipment or to request evidence from a GP, optician, or other qualified assessor about a customer’s ability to operate mobility equipment safely.
Conditions of Hire Apply
- Availability of equipment is subject to servicing, repair and demand.
- Advance booking is recommended.

Ellesmere Port: Monday – Saturday 9.30am – 4.30pm
Northwich: Monday – Friday 9.30am – 4.30pm
Winsford: Monday – Friday. Bookings by appointment only. Please contact the Northwich branch to arrange your booking.
