to develop their products and services for disabled people.

Purple Tuesday

Why should you take part?

In the UK alone, the Purple Pound – the spending power of disabled people and their families – is worth a staggering £274 billion and is estimated to be raising by 14% each year, yet less than 10% of organisations have targeted plans to access the disability market. This campaign focuses on changing the customer experience for disabled people. It will involve organisations of all sizes and from all sections to take decisive, practical actions to meet the needs of disabled customers.

Whether you are an individual or part of an organisation, getting involved in this campaign will help raise awareness and develop a better understanding of the needs of our disabled community.

How do you take part?

Step 1:

Register for your free welcome and marketing pack here.

This includes marketing tips and resources to help you to raise awareness of the campaign.

Step 2:

On Tuesday 3rd November, get all of your team to wear something purple, snap selfies and share them online using the hashtag #DialPurple2020

Step 3:

Use the marketing pack to raise awareness of Paint West Cheshire Purple in your business and on your social media and make sure you register for an Accessibility Photo to help us to help you show how you are accessible.

As well as wearing purple on the day, we would like to help you to highlight how your business is accessible and share this with our community of supporters who may not be aware of how they can easily access your business.

We will come along using our mobility scooter to access your business and show visually how you are accessible.
