Originally based at The Bluecoat in Chester, the Autism Hub first opened its doors in 2021.

By working in partnership with other organisations, the Autism Hub provided a welcoming space for autistic adults and their families to visit and access a range of services.

COVID-19 inevitably impacted on the Autism Hub’s ability to deliver in-person support and the team has faced other challenges with the sustainability of the service.

As a respected point of contact in the local community for disabled people, including autistic adults and their families, Dial West Cheshire is well placed to host the Autism Hub alongside its range of other services.

Based at Dial House in Chester, as well as working from outreach locations across the borough with partner organisations, the Autism Hub will primarily offer an appointment-based service, allowing autistic adults to get the support they need.

Local NHS organisations and Cheshire West and Chester Council have committed to jointly funding Dial West Cheshire to deliver this much-needed, sustainable service for autistic adults and their families.

The Autsim Hub and Dial West Cheshire together appreciate it has been an uncertain time recently, but we hope you’re reassured by these positive developments.

Together, we are committed to offering a safe space for people to visit, receive the support they need and make connections with others and we look forward to providing you with further updates about the new-look service in the near future.

The Autism Hub’s usual communication channels are still live and will continue to be updated with the latest information and advice.

Dial West Cheshire will take over the role of sending out the Autism Hub enewsletter to existing contacts. You can unsubscribe from this directly through the enewsletter and, if you’d like to sign up to it, please email: autism.hub@dialwestcheshire.org.uk.

If you have any questions about the future plans for the Autism Hub, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the email address above or use the contact form on the website.
