Great News for Our Volunteers

Tomas Baggott gets his Volunteer of the Year award Dial West Cheshire is delighted that two of our wonderful, disabled volunteers were recognised at Cheshire West Voluntary Action’s 2022 Volunteer Awards. Tomas Baggott (Dial House Café Volunteer) was presented with the Inspirational Volunteer of the Year award by Jeannie France-Hayhurst, High Sheriff of Cheshire. In addition, Trisha Bell’s long service of over 24 years on the charity’s board of trustees was recognised with Trisha shortlisted for the Trustee of the Year award and presented with a lovely bunch of flowers. Meaghan McCauley, Volunteer & Learning Manager at Dial West Cheshire said: “We’re immensely proud of Tom and Trisha and so grateful for all their help and hard work. Recognising and celebrating the role of volunteers motivates us at Dial West Cheshire to continue to provide an inclusive and supportive environment where volunteers, including disabled people, can flourish.”
