For the 6th time running DIAL West Cheshire was delighted to support arrangements for disabled access at an Eaton Hall Garden Open Day, most recently on Sunday 28th of May.
DIAL provides mobility scooters and wheelchairs to enable disabled visitors to get around the beautiful, but expansive, grounds. The service has proved to be hugely popular, giving disabled people the opportunity to view the spectacular gardens and visit the various displays on show at the Eaton Hall Estate in Eccleston near Chester. Disabled people said that our service meant they can enjoy the day out together with their family or friends, rather than sit and wait in the car or not go out at all.
The gardens are open to the public 4 times each year and help to raise funds for local charities. Further information, including accessibility guidance, is available from this link to the Eaton Estate website: www.eatonestate.co.uk/our-giving/eaton-hallgarden-open-days.aspx
With another 2 events planned for this year on Sunday 30 July and Sunday 27 August, we are delighted to offer this valued service which helps to improve the lives of disabled people.
We would like to thank our volunteers and staff for all their help on the day. For further information about future events or to join us as a volunteer please contact DIAL Shopmobility on 01244 312626.
