Dial West Cheshire Shopmobility represented at PWMS training scheme launch event at House of Lords

Our Chief Officer and Chair of ShopMobility UK, Keith Roper, attended the launch of Driving Mobility’s Powered Wheelchair and Mobility Scooter (PWMS) retailer training scheme. The event, hosted by Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson, took place on a sunny day at the House of Lords in London on 7 June.

Delivered by Driving Mobility and supported by the Department for Transport, the PWMS training scheme aims to train mobility product retailers and hirers, including those from Shopmobility centres, in consistent and accredited safe driving guidance for users of mobility equipment.

Formal proceedings were opened by Baroness Grey-Thompson, pictured below, who welcomed guests to the launch.
