Dial West Cheshire Shopmobility crowned a beacon of good practice.

Dial West Cheshire was delighted to receive a visit from Edward Trewhella from ShopMobility UK (and Chief Executive of Driving Mobility). ShopMobility UK co-ordinates a network of local ShopMobility centres which hire mobility scooters, powerchairs and wheelchairs for everyone, of all ages, to enjoy independence outdoors.

Keith Roper, Dial West Cheshire’s Chief Officer, has accepted an invitation to join the ShopMobility UK members steering group. With four centres across Cheshire West and Chester (in Chester, Ellesmere Port, Northwich and Winsford) Dial’s Shopmobility service is considered to be a beacon of good practice. Providing a valuable service to both local disabled people as well as visitors and tourists, mobility equipment is available to hire from as little as £3 per day. A range of independent living aids is also available for sale at competitive prices.
