Dial West Cheshire is delighted to congratulate two Dial volunteers, Neville Thompson (CVA Older volunteer award) and Jonathan Davies (CVA Business Volunteer) for achieving “runner up” places in Chester Voluntary Action’s 2017 Volunteer Awards.
Keith Roper, Chief Officer, said:
“Neville and Jonathan are examples of the many, tremendous volunteers working at Dial – and it is great to see them and our charity recognised in the awards this year. Thank you to Meaghan (Volunteer & Learning Manager) and the managers for compiling the nominations and, of course, thank you to all volunteers for their ongoing work.”
Please be aware Dial is also keen to recruit new volunteers.
The charity has vacancies in most areas of service delivery [e.g. café, advice, reception, shopmobility (including volunteer shopping helpers)] as well as supporting roles such as directors/trustees, ICT, mobility equipment maintenance, marketing & communications etc. They are also looking for volunteers to help with one-off events/fundraising activities such as bag-packing at supermarkets and supporting disabled access at Eaton Hall garden open days.
Please help to spread the word about volunteer vacancies at Dial and if you or anyone you know is interested in finding out more please contact Meaghan McCauley (Volunteer & Learning Manager), telephone 01244 345 655 or email email@example.com.
