Dial West Cheshire receive funding from West Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group for 2019/20

Dial West Cheshire is delighted to have received confirmation of grant funding from West Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) for 2019/20. The grant of £20,000 enables specialist welfare benefits advice to continue to be available to people with mental health conditions for the remainder of the current financial year, with the CCG stating that there is no commitment to provide continued funding beyond 31 March 2020.

Trisha Bell (Chair) said: “Dial would like to thank all the people in the local community who expressed their concerns over the withdrawal of CCG funding earlier in the year. We know there is a high demand for our Advice service and vulnerable people with mental health conditions really value our support.”

Keith Roper (Chief Officer) added: “We look forward to taking up the offer of the clinical commissioning group to identify opportunities to work in partnership regarding future planning of joined up services.”
