The team at Dial West Cheshire have been busy working behind the scenes to pull together and continue to provide their invaluable services, albeit differently, for the disabled, older and vulnerable people in communities across Cheshire West and Chester.
Dial West Cheshire provides award winning services including Information and Advice on disability related issues with a focus on Welfare Benefits and Disability Rights, a Community Café in the heart of Chester City Centre, Shopmobility shops across West Cheshire, a volunteer scheme and social groups for older people at risk of social isolation to name but a few.
The Coronavirus Pandemic has led to all of these services needing to cease regular operation, review and adapt how they deliver as they previously involved face to face contact.
While they can’t invite you into their premises, they are now Delivering Dial Differently through their adapted services.

Trisha Bell, Chair of Dial West Cheshire, said “Our focus is to keep people safe and well, and to be here for people in the community who need us. We understand that people, including some who are vulnerable, need our services at this time. It has, therefore, been even more important for us to consider how we can continue to deliver these services without risking the health and well-being of our staff, volunteers and customers. We believe we have successfully done this.”
